What happens if I have a problem while driving?

At Paxxy, we want you to always feel supported. If something unexpected happens while you're driving in New York City, the app gives you quick and simple tools to get help right away.

1. Safety options at your fingertips

On the trip screen, you’ll find the “Security” section, where you can access three tools designed to assist you when you need it most:

• Emergency: To contact Paxxy Support immediately.

• Share location: To send your real-time location to someone you trust.

• Call local police: To call 911 right away in case of an urgent situation.

2. “Emergency” button

If you need immediate support from Paxxy:

• Tap “Emergency” and choose the option that best describes what’s happening.

• We’ll connect you with Paxxy Support, and our team will automatically receive your location so they can assist you as quickly as possible.

3. Trip monitoring

When you activate an emergency:

• You’ll see the message “Support is monitoring your trip,” meaning our team is following your route in real time.

• Even if you cancel the alert, the app will notify you that we’re still monitoring your trip, just to make sure you arrive safely at your destination.
